TheLokals ("we", "us", or "our") operates a dedicated B2B manufacturing and industrial sourcing marketplace connecting corporate buyers with verified manufacturing facilities. We respect the confidentiality and privacy of commercial enterprises and their authorized corporate representatives.

2. Data We Collect

• Corporate Business Identity: Legal business name, GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number), registered corporate address, and industrial plant coordinates.
• Authorized Representative Details: Business email address, corporate telephone number, job title, and organization affiliation.
• Commercial Sourcing Transactions: Technical requests for quotes (RFQs), CAD/bill-of-material drawings, sample requests, purchase orders, milestone payments, and escrow ledger records.
• Device & Application Diagnostics: Minimal technical diagnostic tokens, crash reports via Hermes/Crashlytics, and audit timestamps.

3. How We Use Business Data

We process commercial data strictly to facilitate verification of manufacturing facilities, match buyer sourcing specifications with qualified plants, execute milestone escrow contracts, and maintain immutable platform ledger records. We do not sell corporate contact data or transaction telemetry to third-party ad networks.

4. Confidentiality of Technical Drawings & RFQ Specs

Technical blueprints, CAD files, and proprietary formulations uploaded during the RFQ and sampling process are protected under strict multi-tenant organizational isolation. They are disclosed exclusively to shortlisted, NDA-bound manufacturing partners who you explicitly invite or accept quotes from.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

Corporate accounts and authorized representatives may request an export or erasure of their account telemetry by contacting compliance@thelokals.com. Statutory tax, GSTIN, and financial audit records are retained according to Indian regulatory compliance requirements.
